Aiyouyoubbs is a women’s casual fashion store based in Middlesbrough, focusing on well-made denim skirts, soft and warm cardigan sweaters, comfortable daily wear shoes, and delicate decorative hair accessories. We care about every customer’s shopping experience and design this clear, customer-friendly return policy to make post-purchase adjustments simple and stress-free, for both online orders and in-store purchases.
1. Valid Return & Exchange Period
We accept return and exchange requests within 30 calendar days from the date you receive your order (for online purchases) or the date of in-store purchase. This 30-day window gives you enough time to check the fit, fabric, and style of your items to ensure they meet your expectations.
2. Eligibility Requirements (All Items)
To qualify for a return or exchange, items must meet all of the following basic conditions, with extra category-specific rules to maintain quality and resale standards:
- General Condition: Items must be completely unused, unworn, unwashed, and clean, with no stains, pet hair, perfume smells, makeup marks, or visible wear and tear.
- Tags & Packaging: All original aiyouyoubbs brand tags, size labels, and care labels must be fully attached and uncut. Original packaging (including shoe boxes for footwear, accessory bags for hair pieces) must be returned in good, undamaged condition.
Category-Specific Eligibility Rules
- Denim Skirts: Original denim texture, color, and stitching must be fully preserved; no fading, fraying, stretching, or damage to zippers, buttons, and hemlines. No alterations or modifications to the skirt.
- Cardigan Sweaters: Knit fabric must be free of pilling, pulls, snags, or loose threads. No discoloration, stains on cuffs/collars, or damage to buttons and trims.
- Shoes: Shoes must show no signs of wear — no scuffs on soles, no creases on upper material, no dirt or damage. The original shoe box must be returned intact; damaged or crushed shoe boxes may void the return.
- Hair Accessories: All hair clips, hairbands, and decorative hair pieces must be unused, with no hair product residue, scratches, or broken details. Hygiene-sealed hair accessories cannot be returned if the seal is broken.
Non-Returnable Items: Final sale items (marked clearly as “Final Sale” on tags/receipts), personalized items, hygiene-sensitive hair accessories with broken seals, and items that fail the above condition checks will not be accepted for return or exchange.
3. Available Return & Exchange Options
3.1 Full Refund
Approved returns will be refunded to your original payment method (credit/debit card, PayPal, etc.) within 2-4 business days after our team receives and inspects the item. Refunds cover the full product price only; original shipping costs are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns. If the return is due to our mistake (wrong item, defective product, size error), we will refund both the product cost and original shipping fees in full.
3.2 Exchange
You can exchange eligible items for a different size, color, or similar style (based on current stock availability). If the new item is more expensive, you only need to pay the price difference; if it is cheaper, the remaining balance will be issued as store credit. We offer free standard delivery for one exchanged item per order for online exchanges.
3.3 Store Credit
You can choose store credit instead of a refund, valid for 3 full years from the issue date. Store credit can be used for any product in our online store and physical shop, with no minimum spend requirement. The credit code will be sent to your registered email within 24 hours of approval.
4. How to Return or Exchange
Online Order Returns
- Contact our customer service team at aiyouyoubbs1@outlook.com within the 30-day period, providing your order number, full item name, and reason for return/exchange.
- Our team will reply within 1 business day with a unique Return Authorization (RA) number and clear return shipping instructions. Returns without an RA number will not be processed.
- Pack the item securely with all original tags and packaging, write the RA number clearly on the parcel, and send it via a tracked delivery service.
- Once we receive and check the item (1-2 business days), we will process your refund, exchange, or store credit and send a confirmation email.
In-Store Returns
You can return or exchange items directly at our physical store during opening hours, simply bring the original receipt or order confirmation. In-store returns are processed immediately, with no waiting time for refunds or exchanges.
5. Return Shipping & Fees
- Change of Mind: Customers are responsible for return shipping fees. A small £2.80 processing fee will be deducted from the refund total to cover handling costs.
- Defective/Incorrect Items: We cover all return shipping costs and will send a pre-paid return label to your email. No processing fees will be charged, and we offer a free replacement or full refund as you prefer.
6. Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive a faulty, damaged, or wrong item, contact us within 5 days of receipt with clear photos of the item and packaging. We will verify the issue within 24 hours and resolve it quickly: free replacement, full refund including shipping, or extra store credit as a goodwill gesture.
