These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) establish a legally binding contract between aiyouyoubbs (“we”, “us”, “our”), a women’s casual fashion retailer operating at 18 High Street, Middlesbrough TS1 1AD, United Kingdom, and you (“customer”, “you”, “your”). These Terms govern all access to our official online store, associated customer services, and every purchase transaction of our core products, including denim skirts, knit cardigan sweaters, casual footwear, and decorative hair accessories (collectively defined as “Products”). By browsing our online platform, creating a customer profile, submitting an order, or completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, fully understood, and unconditionally agreed to comply with these Terms, alongside our Privacy Policy and Shipping Policy, which are fully integrated into this agreement. If you do not consent to any provision within these Terms, you must immediately cease all use of our services and refrain from initiating any purchase.
1. Brand & Product Overview
aiyouyoubbs is a Middlesbrough-based women’s casual apparel brand, focused on delivering stylish, comfortable, and durable everyday pieces tailored to modern women’s daily wardrobes. Our core product line is carefully curated to balance practicality and trendiness: premium denim skirts in versatile silhouettes (mini, midi, A-line, and straight cuts) made with wear-resistant denim fabrics; soft, lightweight knit cardigan sweaters designed for year-round layering, suitable for both casual outings and relaxed daily wear; supportive and fashionable casual shoes (flats, loafers, and low-top sneakers) built for all-day comfort; and delicate, on-trend hair accessories (clips, headbands, and soft scrunchies) to elevate simple outfits. We operate with full compliance with UK consumer protection laws and eCommerce regulations, prioritising transparency, product quality, and reliable customer support for every transaction.
We reserve the sole right to update our product collection, adjust design details, or discontinue slow-moving or out-of-stock styles at our discretion, in line with seasonal trends and inventory availability. Such changes will not impact confirmed, fully paid orders that have already been processed for shipping. While we take every measure to ensure product descriptions, imagery, sizing charts, and pricing are accurate, minor variations may occur due to fabric batch differences, denim washing treatments, knit texture nuances, screen display calibration, or hand-finished details for hair accessories. These minor discrepancies do not qualify as product defects and shall not constitute valid grounds for refunds, exchanges, or financial compensation.
2. Customer Eligibility & Obligations
To place orders or access our full range of services, you must be at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you may only use our services with the explicit written consent of a parent or legal guardian, who will assume full legal responsibility for all transactions, returns, disputes, and liabilities arising from your use of our platform and products. When creating a customer profile (optional for one-time purchases) or placing an order, you warrant that all personal information provided – including full legal name, valid contact number, accurate delivery address, and legitimate payment details – is true, up-to-date, and complete. You shall be solely liable for any delivery delays, failed deliveries, order errors, or financial losses caused by inaccurate, incomplete, or false information submitted by you.
You agree not to engage in any prohibited conduct that violates these Terms, UK laws, or fair business practices, including but not limited to: submitting fraudulent orders or using stolen, unauthorised payment methods; filing unwarranted chargebacks without prior contact with our customer service team; tampering with our website security, uploading malicious content, or disrupting normal service operations; reselling our Products for commercial profit without our prior written approval; infringing our brand trademarks, product designs, or website content; or using our services for any illegal, harmful, or unethical purposes.
3. Account Security & Management
Registering a dedicated aiyouyoubbs customer account is optional for individual one-time purchases, but required to access exclusive benefits including order tracking, saved delivery addresses, purchase history, personalised product recommendations, and seasonal promotional offers. If you choose to create an account, you are fully responsible for safeguarding your login credentials (account username and password) and all activities conducted under your account. You must notify our customer service team immediately via email or phone if you suspect unauthorised account access, password leakage, or any suspicious account activity.
We implement industry-standard security protocols, including end-to-end data encryption and secure payment gateway integration, to protect your personal and account data. However, we shall not be held liable for any losses resulting from your failure to properly secure your login credentials, or from third-party security breaches such as phishing attacks, hacking, or unauthorised device access, which are beyond our reasonable control.
4. Order Placement & Binding Contract
Submitting an order through our online store constitutes a formal offer from you to purchase the selected Products under the terms outlined herein. We will send an automated order acknowledgment email to your registered email address promptly after order submission; this email only confirms receipt of your order and does not signify our acceptance or the formation of a binding contract. A legally enforceable contract between you and aiyouyoubbs is only formed when we issue a formalOrder Confirmation & Dispatch Notice email, which verifies product availability, successful payment processing, and scheduled shipping details.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or refund any order at our sole discretion under the following circumstances: ordered Products are out of stock, discontinued, or unavailable due to supply chain disruptions; material errors exist in product pricing, descriptions, or imagery; we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity, unauthorised payment use, or violation of these Terms; the delivery address is invalid, incomplete, or inaccessible to our courier partners; or we are unable to verify your identity or payment information. If we cancel a paid order, we will process a full refund to your original payment method within 1-2 business days, with no additional deductions or fees.
You may cancel an order only before it is dispatched for shipping by contacting our customer service team with your valid order number and registered email address. Once an order has been handed to our courier for delivery, cancellation is no longer permitted, and you must follow our official return and exchange policy if you wish to return the Products.
5. Pricing, Payment & Tax Compliance
All product prices displayed on our online store are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include Value Added Tax (VAT), in full compliance with UK tax laws and regulations. Shipping costs are calculated separately based on your delivery location, order weight (accounting for bulkier knitwear and shoe packaging), and selected shipping method, with a clear, itemised breakdown provided at the checkout page before you complete payment. For international orders, any applicable customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price or shipping fees charged by our brand.
We may adjust product prices periodically due to changes in raw material costs, seasonal promotions, or inventory clearance events, but such price adjustments will not apply to confirmed, paid orders that have already been processed. Full payment must be completed at the time of order placement using our accepted secure payment methods, including major credit and debit cards, and trusted online payment platforms. All payment transactions are processed through encrypted third-party payment gateways, and we do not store full payment card details on our servers to protect your financial security. If a payment fails or is declined, your order will not be processed, and we will notify you promptly to assist with resolving the payment issue.
6. Product Care & Customer Liability
Each aiyouyoubbs Product comes with detailed, category-specific care instructions attached to the product label and listed on the corresponding product page, to maintain product quality and extend lifespan: Denim Skirts: Wash inside out in cold water with mild detergent, air dry only, avoid bleaching, dry cleaning, or high-heat tumble drying to prevent fading, shrinkage, and fabric damage.Cardigan Sweaters: Gentle hand wash or low-speed machine wash recommended, lay flat to dry, avoid wringing, twisting, or high-heat drying to retain shape and softness.Footwear: Clean with a soft, dry cloth, avoid prolonged exposure to moisture and direct sunlight, store in a cool, dry place to prevent sole damage and material deterioration.Hair Accessories: Handle with gentle care, avoid excessive pulling and bending, store in a clean, dry pouch to prevent breakage, scratches, and deformation.
We shall not be liable for any product damage, fading, shrinkage, deformation, or breakage caused by failure to follow the provided care instructions, accidental misuse, or improper storage. Normal wear and tear from regular, intended use is not considered a manufacturing defect. In the event of visible damage upon delivery (e.g., torn packaging, defective products), you must notify our customer service team within 24 hours of receipt, accompanied by clear photographic evidence of the damaged packaging and Products, to be eligible for a replacement or full refund.
7. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
aiyouyoubbs offers a 30-day return and exchange window from the date of product delivery, applicable only to Products that are unused, unwashed, undamaged, and in their original, resalable condition with all original tags, labels, and packaging fully intact. Eligibility requirements for each product category: Denim skirts and cardigans: Free of stains, wrinkles, odours, and signs of wear or washing.Footwear: Unscuffed soles, no visible wear, and original shoe box packaging undamaged.Hair accessories: Unused, unbroken, and in original sealed packaging (where applicable).
The following Products are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable: personalised or custom-made items; final sale products clearly marked as non-returnable on our website; products damaged due to improper care, misuse, or accidental damage; worn or altered hair accessories; footwear with scuffed soles or damaged packaging; and products with removed tags or altered packaging.
To initiate a return or exchange, you must first contact our customer service team to obtain a unique Return Authorisation (RA) number, which must be clearly written or printed on the outer packaging of the return parcel. Returns submitted without a valid RA number will not be accepted or processed. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless the return is due to our direct error (e.g., incorrect product, size, or colour shipment, confirmed manufacturing defects). In such cases, we will reimburse reasonable return shipping costs upon verification and approval.
We will inspect all returned Products within 3 business days of receipt. Eligible returns will be processed for a refund or exchange within 5 business days of inspection approval. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, and original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is a direct result of our error. For exchanges, we will dispatch the replacement Product once the returned item has been approved and inspected.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights associated with aiyouyoubbs, including but not limited to the brand name, trademarks, logos, product designs (denim skirt cuts, cardigan patterns, footwear styles, hair accessory designs), website content, product images, and written materials, are the exclusive property of aiyouyoubbs. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access our online store and use our services solely for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or commercially exploit any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent. Unauthorised use of our brand assets, product designs, or website content constitutes a breach of these Terms and applicable UK intellectual property laws, and we reserve the right to take appropriate legal action to protect our rights.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK consumer protection laws and general contract law, aiyouyoubbs shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or purchase of our Products, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, data loss, or emotional distress. Our total aggregate liability for any direct damages related to a specific purchase shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the Products giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for personal injury, death caused by our gross negligence, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
